University of Findlay College of Pharmacy V.I.P.2 (Very Important Potential Pharmacists) Day Date: March 28, 2025 Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Registration: https://www.findlay.edu/pharmacy/vip2 V.I.P.2 Day is designed for current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors (and seniors if they are still exploring their options) who show dedication to academics, possess a strong aptitude for science and math, and are considering a career in healthcare. This one-day event provides students with a unique chance to explore the exciting world of pharmacy. PHS News! Attn: SENIORS The Huron County Township Association will be offering two $500 scholarships this year to qualified students. Eligibility: Applicant must be a US citizen and reside in a township within Huron County. Student must plan to attend a two or four year college or university in the fall of 2025. The scholarship will be awarded to a student demonstrating the following: Academic Achievement (cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher) Citizenship through service and participation in school/community activities. Requirements: Applicant must submit: Completed application form (pick up application in the HS office) Copy of official high school transcript Statement of activities, honors and leadership, including school and community activities and year of participation. Identify leadership positions or awards received. Please submit this on a separate piece of paper. A 500-word essay describing how this scholarship will help the applicant obtain his/her goals. Athletic News! Last night's cancelled MS girls basketball game at home vs Mapleton has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Thursday 1/16. Same time same place. 5pm start. With this, we will now have the MS girls playing Mapleton in the elementary gym and the MS boys playing Mapleton in the HS gym both starting at 5pm.

Big Red Family! Good Morning. Today is Wednesday, January 15 and the Plymouth Shiloh schools are on a 2 hour delay due to weather. There will be no AM preschool. Thank you.

Athletic News! Tonight’s JV girls basketball game at Temple Christian has now been cancelled due to the weather.

Athletic News! Tonight's MS Girls Basketball game at home against Mapleton has been cancelled. All other games and practices are still on as scheduled at this time including the JV only girls basketball game at Temple Christian.

Elementary News! Mrs. Yetter's 4th grade class are working with a partner to create a hockey player and goalie to explore push and pull forces using Lego Education Bric Q .

Elementary News! Mrs. Terry's 3rd grade class are coding the mouse robots through mazes of their creations in Computer Class. So much FUN!

Elementary News! Mrs. Bays kindergarten class are using the Coding Critters to learn basic coding skills in Computer Class. Way to go!

ATTENTION SENIORS: For anyone that has applied or plans to apply to Kent State, here are some important highlights: January Highlights Updates and News • Admitted student next steps: Admitted students should submit their enrollment fee in their applicant portal as soon as possible so they can apply for on-campus housing and register for Destination Kent State , New Student Orientation starting Feb. 1. • FAFSA submission date: Students should submit the FAFSA by Feb. 15 to maximize their financial aid eligibility. Kent State's code is 003051. • ScholarshipUniverse Deadlines: The deadlines for admitted students to apply for internal (Kent State-specific) scholarships in our scholarship portal, ScholarshipUniverse, start Feb. 1 and end March 1. External scholarship deadlines vary. • Apply now for merit scholarships: Seniors must apply to Kent State before Feb. 15 to qualify for merit scholarships. Events • Admitted student events: Students can register for upcoming admitted student events in their applicant portal. Personalized invitations will be sent via email and events will start as soon as February. Lunch Room News! Plymouth-Shiloh Schools participate in the School Breakfast Program and the National School Lunch Program. All students have the opportunity to fill out a Free & Reduced Meal Application to determine whether they qualify for free or reduced price meals. Paper applications are available at each schools office or applications can be filled out online(payschools.com). Please see the attached letter for more information. Thank you!

PHS Scholarship News! ATTENTION SENIORS: Luckey Farmers Inc. will award two $1,500 scholarships continual for up to four years or upon graduation to our Patron’s Stockholders’ dependents to work on their baccalaureate, associate or technical degree as a full time student in an ag-related program. This scholarship has been established to assist members who are stockholders of the cooperative. Each recipient is eligible for the scholarship only once. Member families, who are stockholders, are allowed only one scholarship in a four year period. Criteria for the award is based on academic achievement, extra curricular activities, and degree. Award to be paid upon percentage of the school semester/quarter and after completion of the school semester/quarter. Immediate members of employee families are not eligible. Athletic News! Big Red Recap: The new week got started on Monday night for the Big Red as the MS and freshman boys basketball teams were all in action at home. The 7th and 8th grade teams hosted South Central as both teams battled the Trojans but lost tough games. They will return to action on Thursday at home again hosting Mapleton. The freshman hosted Mapleton and pulled away for a nice league win over the Mounties. They will have a short rest before being right back in action tomorrow hosting Monroeville.

PHS News! PHS Yearbooks are in! 2023-2024 Yearbooks are in and can be picked up in the PHS office if you ordered one! If you did not order one and would like one, we do have some extra for $55 each.

Athletic News! We have rescheduled the cancelled MS girls and boys basketball games with New London from this past Saturday. Below are the details for each game. Girls - Rescheduled for Thursday 1/23 at New London with a start time of 4:45pm. The earlier start time will allow time for them to get back to the JV/Varsity girls game that evening that they will be recognized at. Boys - Rescheduled for Saturday 1/25 at home with a start time of 10am. Will be played in our HS gym.
