Big Red Baseball Recap:
The Big Red baseball team started the postseason on Friday by hosting Ridgemont in the sectional finals and used another strong pitching performance combined with some timely hitting to pull off a 4-1 win and advance to districts. Jarrett Burrer was dominant on the mound for the Big Red as we went the full 7 innings striking out 17 batters on the day. The offense did just enough with some timely hits and good base running to secure the sectional win. They improve to 14-11 overall on the season and advance to this week's district tournament and will take on Mohawk on Thursday at 2pm at Galion's Heise Park. They will however, be back in action tonight traveling to Sandusky St. Mary's for an added regular season game starting at 5pm.
