It was another busy night of basketball action for the Big Red on Thursday night. The MS boys teams played at home for the first time this season hosting Monroeville and again came away with a split. The 7th grade dropped a tough game to the Eagles while the 8th grade won a low scoring close battle. Both teams will be right back in action tomorrow morning traveling to New London starting at 10am.
The Freshman boys also were in action and opened up their season on the road at Northmor and lost to the Golden Knights. They will be back in action on Monday at home hosting Margaretta.
The JV and Varsity girls opened up conference play at home with Crestview and both had rough nights offensively falling to the Cougars. The Varsity could not overcome turnovers and a rough shooting night en route to the 40-19 loss to the Cougars. They are now 0-4 on the season and 0-1 in league play and will be right back in action tomorrow afternoon at South Central.
