Band News! Attention parents/guardians of any incoming 8th Grade & High School band members for next year! Here are the summer schedule and band schedule for the 2025-2026 school year! Athletic News! District Baseball Gameday! The Big Red baseball team is set to take on Mohawk in the division 7 district semi-finals today at 2pm at Galion's Heise Park. Admission will be charged and tickets can be purchased online ahead of time via www.ohsaa.org/tickets or with cash at the game. Tickets are $8 adults and $5 students. With a win today over Mohawk the Big Red would advance to Saturday's district championship game back in Galion at 2pm. Go Big Red!!

Athletic News! Big Red Recap: Two of our three regional track qualifiers competed last night in the division 3 regional at North Royalton HS. Izaya Reynolds and Isaiah Miller both competed in the prelims of their respective races. Izaya finished with the 10th fastest time in the 400 m dash while Isaiah had the 12th fastest time in the 300 m hurdles both missing out on advancing to Friday's finals. Both had outstanding seasons and represented the Big Red very well at the regional level!

Athletic News! 5th and 6th Grade Fall Volleyball League If any girl is interested in playing on the 5th or 6th grade volleyball team next school year, please join the Team Reach App. Code: 5thSMSVB6th Sign-ups and information will be posted in this group along with practices. This will begin in August. If you are interested in coaching the 5th or 6th grade team, please message Coach Furr on the app. Some information about the league: Practices will be 2 days a week, and these will depend on coaches' schedules and the MS practices/games. Games are played on Sundays in the afternoon. We will have a few home games, and we will travel to half the games as well. 6th graders will have a tournament at the end of their season as well. Athletic News! Good luck to our regional track and field qualifiers!! Izaya and Isaiah will be competing tonight in the prelims of the regional at North Royalton HS while Morgan will compete on Friday at the Fostoria regional!

School Nurse News! Just a friendly reminder that if your child has medication at school then it needs to be picked up by the last day of school, May 29th. Any medication that is not picked up will be properly disposed of. Medication cannot be sent home with the student. Athletic News! Big Red Recap: The baseball team traveled to Sandusky St. Mary's on Tuesday night for an added regular season game and won a high scoring affair by an 18-11 final score. The win improves the Big Red to 15-11 overall on the season as they prep for tomorrow's district semi-final matchup against Mohawk.

Athletic News! Spring Sports Awards Night: Reminder to all spring sports athletes and parents that our spring sports awards night is scheduled for this Thursday 5/29 at 6:30pm in the HS gym. All spring athletes are expected to be in attendance in order to receive end of season awards. We will also be recognizing our annual Big Red, scholar athlete, and three sport award winners as well. We look forward to celebrating our spring athletes! Go Big Red!!

Elementary News! Second grade had a spelling bee on Friday. Here are the winners! Great job everyone!

Athletic News! We are excited to have 3 track athletes that have punched their tickets to regionals this week and will be competing on Wednesday and Friday. We are going to have a sendoff for them tomorrow, Wednesday at 2:40pm in the hallways. We will have the 3 athletes walk the MS hallway and the back hallway while students and staff line the hallways to wish them well. The boys (Isaiah and Izaya) will be competing tomorrow in the running prelims at North Royalton with a chance to qualify for finals on Friday. Morgan will run on Friday in the 3200 at Fostoria. Thanks for your support and I hope everyone has a great last week and end to the year!

Athletic News! On Wednesday and Friday evenings last week, the track and field teams competed in the District Championship at Colonel Crawford High School. The boys team finished 11th and the girls team finished 14th. The team walked away from the meet with 3 regional qualifiers including: Izaya Reynolds in the 400m Dash Isaiah Miller in the 300m Hurdles Morgan Follett in the 3200m Run Placing 3rd Izaya Reynolds - 400m Dash - 52.87 Morgan Follett - 3200m Run - 11:49.04 - New School Record by 15 seconds!!! Placing 4th Isaiah Miller - 300m Hurdles - 43.02 - 2nd Time Qualifying to the Regional Championship Placing 6th Isaiah Miller - 110m Hurdles - 16.89 Jackson Kennison - 400m Dash - 54.24 Izaya Reynolds - 200m Dash - 24.03 Placing 7th Girls 4x800 - Morgan Follett, Aly Lewis, Audrey Smith, and Mya Stine - 11:32.97 Isaiah and Izaya will both run in the preliminary round on Wednesday in North Royalton for a chance to advance to the finals on Friday night. Morgan will compete in the 3200m run on Friday evening at Fostoria for a chance to advance to the State Championship.

Athletic News! Big Red Baseball Recap: The Big Red baseball team started the postseason on Friday by hosting Ridgemont in the sectional finals and used another strong pitching performance combined with some timely hitting to pull off a 4-1 win and advance to districts. Jarrett Burrer was dominant on the mound for the Big Red as we went the full 7 innings striking out 17 batters on the day. The offense did just enough with some timely hits and good base running to secure the sectional win. They improve to 14-11 overall on the season and advance to this week's district tournament and will take on Mohawk on Thursday at 2pm at Galion's Heise Park. They will however, be back in action tonight traveling to Sandusky St. Mary's for an added regular season game starting at 5pm.
