Student Council is also looking for any local organizations or businesses that might want to "host a room" and have something available for kids to do. They would be in charge of decorating and providing their own materials. If you are interested please contact Meredith Worthington at the high school for more information.

Big Red Weekend Recap:
The fall sports season is winding down but our Big Red football and cross country teams are still at it and both were in action over the weekend.
The football team hosted Western Reserve on Friday night and competed with only 13 healthy players due to several injuries on the team. The boys played hard and did not back down while competing for the whole game in the 40-0 loss to the Roughriders. We are super proud of them for how they handled the tough situation and they all took full advantage of the opportunity to play the game. We also would like to thank Western Reserve for their class and sportsmanship that they displayed throughout the night and for their help in playing the game in a safe manner. The Big Red will look to get healthy this week as they prepare to host South Central on Senior Night and the final game of the season.
On Saturday morning, the cross country team competed in the District Championship at Galion Amman's Reservoir. The girls team finished 7th and qualified to the Regional Championship. Weston Smith and Carter Jester qualified as individuals. The boys team finished 11th.
For the high school girls...
Morgan Follett finished 28th in a time of 23:32.26
Audrey Smith finished 32nd in a time of 23:54.36
Anna Caughenbaugh finished 37th in a time of 24:25.50
Kristi Yeager finished 37th in a time of 24:30.46
Aly Lewis finished 47th in a time of 25:52.40

Did you know that the origin of Sweetest Day started right here in OHIO? 😍
"Sweetest Day began in Cleveland in 1922 when a man named Herbert Birch Kingston decided to bring a little happiness into the lives of orphans, shut-ins and others who were often forgotten. With the help of friends, he distributed candy and small gifts to Cleveland's underprivileged."
Celebrate Sweetest Day on Saturday, October 18th showing some kindness!
