Big Red Weekend Recap:
The spring sports season officially got underway over the weekend as the Lady Big Red softball team opened up their season on Saturday at Mansfield Christian with a Varsity/JV doubleheader. It was a long day on the diamond as both games were marathons but it was time well spent as the Lady Big Red picked up two season opening wins. The varsity found themselves behind 10-6 headed into their final at bat and found a way to get four runs across to tie the game at 10 before adding four more runs in extra innings to take the 14-10 win over the Flames. The JV then followed that up with a 18-15 win to complete the sweep over the Flames. The varsity will be back in action on Tuesday hosting Bucyrus while the JV will host Seneca East on Wednesday.

To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Anna Holman, and I am the Director of Guest Services at Kingwood Center Gardens. We are proud to be a location that many students and their families visit for important memories, like proms and homecomings, and we want to continue that relationship. I am writing to you, and the other local schools, to inform you of some important changes here at Kingwood that will impact your students wanting to come on-site prior to their school dance. We kindly ask that you help us spread the word about these changes and have provided a digital flyer to help with that process.
We have made some changes to ensure safety and quality experience. We are requiring timed tickets for anyone who is visiting to take Prom photos, and to ensure a smoother check-in experience, everyone will enter via Kingwood’s Linden Road Gate.
We know and understand that there are some major changes. To provide the best experience for everyone, we would appreciate your help with making these new changes as easy as possible so that your students and our guests can make great memories and have some beautiful pictures to remember those by.
We appreciate your help and attention to this matter.
Thank you
