Last week in Mr. Silcox's Modern World History Class, students learned about Urbanization in Cities during the Industrial Revolution. Students participated in a game in which they had to make a town grow into a city and then talk about all the issues that happened from this rapid growth.

Elementary News!
The 2nd graders made Positive Pumpkins as a closing project for their Little Spot of Emotions Unit. Since the Little Spot of Confidence is orange, he is often confused with a pumpkin. He doesn’t want people to compare him to a scary Jack-o’-lantern, so he decides to make a new tradition of writing positive messages on pumpkins. His hope is to build confidence in everyone who sees them. Mrs. Montgomery’s Guidance Classes were happy to help the Little Spot of Confidence spread this positivity by making their own Positive Pumpkins.
